  3.   This panel shows the things I am thinking to do in future revisions of bit.
  4.   I am not sure if this icon-keyed interface is any better than the old 
  5.   button-keyed one. Your opinion will be appreciated. As far as
  6.   programming goes, from old GUI to this won't take more than a few
  7.   hours and code size will increase by a tiny amount BUT the memory
  8.   usage will be much higher (consider each icon needs 100*100*4 bytes)
  9.   without too much speed penalty (except first time coming up). Or
  10.   alternatively, small memory usage increase but slower response.

  12.   All icons shown here are from the old SGI NeWS icons. I am not sure
  13.   I can legitimately use these in formal releases. If you have some nifty
  14.   free icons (any standard format will do), I would like to have some.
